Who we are and what this policy covers
This website is operated by Assurion Labs, a U.S. online retailer of skin care products. Business location: United States. This policy covers this website and the orders, accounts, messages, and sign-ups that come through it. It does not cover other websites we link to, such as social media platforms, which have their own privacy policies.
Our store is intended for customers in the United States.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Orders and accounts. Your name, email address, billing and shipping addresses, phone number if you provide one, order history, saved addresses, and account login details. If you check out as a guest, we still collect the details we need to fill the order.
- Customer service messages. Your name, email address, the topic you choose, and whatever you write when you contact us through our contact form, by email, or by phone, and a record of our reply.
- Email and text sign-ups. Your email address and, if you choose text messages, your mobile number and a record of the consent you gave.
- Quiz answers. The Find Your Routine quiz works in your browser: your answers stay on your device and are not sent to us, and we use them only to show you product suggestions. If we turn on analytics, we may record that the quiz was completed, together with a few non-health choices such as the routine type and budget.
- Reviews and feedback. Anything you choose to submit, if review features are turned on.
Information collected automatically
When you use the site, we and our service providers automatically collect technical and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. This comes from server logs, cookies, and similar technologies. It helps keep your cart working, keeps the site secure, and shows us which pages are useful.
Information from other sources
Our payment processor, Stripe, tells us whether a payment went through and gives us limited details, such as the card brand and the last four digits of the card. Shipping carriers send us delivery updates. If we turn on optional analytics or advertising tools, their providers may give us reports about how people find and use the site.
How we use your information
- To process and deliver orders, take payment, send order and shipping confirmations, and handle returns and refunds.
- To create and manage your account.
- To answer your questions and give customer support.
- To send marketing emails or text messages you have agreed to receive.
- To show you your cart, wishlist, and recently viewed products, and to suggest products based on your quiz answers.

Cookies and browser storage
Cookies and similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, are small pieces of data saved on your device. We use them in these ways:
- Essential. These keep your cart, checkout, login, and site security working. The store cannot work properly without them.
- Convenience. Your wishlist and recently viewed products are saved in your browser on your own device, so the site can show them again when you return. They stay there until you clear your browser data. If you sign in, your wishlist may also be saved to your account so it can follow you between devices.
- Analytics (optional). If we turn them on, tools such as Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager may use cookies or similar identifiers to count visits and show how people move through the site.
- Advertising (optional). If we turn them on, advertising pixels such as the Meta Pixel may record events such as pages viewed, items added to a cart, or purchases, so we can measure ads and show relevant ads on other sites.
Analytics and advertising tools are off unless we enable them. Because that setting can change, you can ask us which tools are currently active through our contact form. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may then stop working as expected. Where required by law, we honor a browser-based opt-out signal, such as Global Privacy Control, as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising for that browser.
Email and text messages
We send marketing emails, and text messages if you choose to receive them, only after you sign up. You can leave at any time. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. For text messages, reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Agreeing to receive marketing messages is never a condition of buying anything. You will still receive service messages about your orders and account, such as order and shipping confirmations.
We may use an email or text message service provider to send these messages. We do not share your mobile number or your text message consent with third parties for their own marketing.
If we offer a discount for joining our email list, such as a welcome code, joining is optional, you can unsubscribe at any time, and you can shop without signing up.
How we share information
We share personal information only as needed to run the store and as described here:
- Service providers that work for us, such as website hosting, payment processing, shipping carriers, email and text messaging, customer support tools, analytics, and security. They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
- Legal and safety reasons. When we believe disclosure is required by law or legal process, or is needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers, our team, or others.
- Business changes. If Assurion Labs is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- With your direction. When you ask us to share information or give your consent.
We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. If we enable advertising or analytics tools that use cookies, some state laws may consider sharing data with those providers to be a “sale,” “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, or “targeted advertising.” You can opt out at any time, as described in the section on your privacy rights below.

Some states consider account login details and payment card details to be sensitive personal information. We use them only to sign you in and complete your purchase, and we do not use them for any other purpose.
Payments
Card payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. When you pay, the card details you enter are sent to Stripe over an encrypted connection, and digital wallet payments are handled by the wallet provider and Stripe. Stripe’s use of your information is covered by its own privacy policy.
Skin and health-related information
Shopping for skin care can reveal things about your interests, your skin, or your health. We do not ask about your medical conditions or medications, and you do not need to share them to shop with us. Please do not include that kind of detail in messages to us. You are welcome to describe a product question in general terms.
We use order information to fill your orders and support you as a customer. Quiz suggestions are made in your browser from the answers you choose. Some states have extra rules for consumer health data. Where those rules apply to us, we will follow them, including asking for your consent where required.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, including to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and keep the site secure. In general:
- Order records are kept as long as needed for tax, accounting, and legal purposes.
- Account information is kept while your account is open and for a reasonable time afterward.
- Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. We may keep a record of your opt-out so we do not contact you again.
- Customer service messages are kept as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of your request.
- Data stored in your browser stays there until you clear it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted connections and limits on who can access data. No website or system is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. Please choose a strong, unique password, keep it private, and tell us through our contact form if you think someone has gained access to your account.
Your privacy rights

- No discrimination. We will not deny you products, charge you different prices, or give you a different level of service because you use these rights. A discount that depends on a marketing program can end if you leave the program.
These rights vary by state and have exceptions. You may also opt out of marketing at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email or replying STOP to a text message.
How to make a request
Contact us through our contact form and begin your message with “Privacy request.” Tell us which right you would like to use and the email address you use for orders or your account. We will confirm we received your request and respond within 45 days, as the law requires. If we need more time, we will tell you why.
To protect your information, we will check your identity by matching what you tell us to what we already have. We may ask for a little more information if we cannot confirm who you are, and we will ask for only what we need. You may use an authorized agent to make a request for you. We may ask for proof of their permission and confirm the request with you.
If we deny your request, we will explain why. You can appeal by contacting us again with a message that begins with “Privacy appeal,” and we will respond in writing within the time the law requires. If you are not satisfied with the result, you may contact your state attorney general.
Children’s privacy
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, please tell us through our contact form and we will delete it. Please also keep all skin care products out of reach of children.
Links to other websites
Our site may link to or embed content from other companies, such as social media platforms or a customer review service. Those companies may set their own cookies and collect their own information. Their practices are governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.
